About Us
Bridging Minds, Aarogyam UK, is a nationally supported initiative dedicated to advancing mental health equity. We work to challenge stigma, improve access, and build inclusive models of care.
Early work, supported by the National Lottery Community Fund (2021-2023), focused on chronic pain, fibromyalgia, and the challenges of long-term health conditions — creating safe, supportive spaces where people could share experiences, reduce isolation, and access care. These grassroots beginnings laid the foundation for an inclusive approach that values both professional expertise and lived experience. In 2025, Bridging Minds is expanding to address the wider mental health divide across the UK to challenge stigma, close gaps in access, and co-create sustainable, culturally responsive care.
Community-Centric Approach
At Bridging Minds, we believe mental health is not just an individual concern, but a shared journey that unites people, families, and communities.
Our Story
Aarogyam UK was founded in 2020 by Dr. Neha Sharma as a grassroots initiative for whole-person health and well-being. Rooted in the principle of complete health — it began as a small community effort to support families through self-care, cultural practices, and integrative approaches.
Aarogyam UK quickly became a trusted space for diverse communities across the UK, blending traditional wisdom with modern science to create accessible health pathways. As Aarogyam grew, it revealed a deeper need: the urgent gaps in mental health support, especially for people living with chronic pain, fibromyalgia, and long-term conditions. With support from the National Lottery, Aarogyam developed safe, inclusive spaces where individuals could share experiences, reduce isolation, and access culturally sensitive care.
What started as a humble grassroots movement by Dr. Neha Sharma has grown into a nationally supported platform for change — connecting global knowledge with local realities and ensuring that mental health equity becomes a shared reality for all.
