Our Impact
Translating Care Into Outcomes
Measuring Change, Month by Month

Establishing Foundations
July 2025
The project began with a structured needs assessment and stakeholder consultation. Peer groups, community leaders, and mental health professionals were engaged to identify gaps in mental health care for diverse communities in the UK. This groundwork revealed that conventional services often lacked accessibility, cultural relevance, and integration with long-term health needs. Based on these findings, the hybrid model (in-person and online) was conceptualised to meet people where they are, both digitally and on the ground.

Building Capacity Through Training
August 2025
Recognising that sustainability depends on trained facilitators, we delivered a four-week intensive training for 42 counsellors, psychotherapists, and program leaders. The curriculum included telehealth delivery, trauma-informed care, and culturally responsive therapeutics. Pre- and post-training assessments confirmed significant increases in facilitator readiness, confidence, and applied skills. This step ensured that the project would begin with a professional, well-prepared foundation.

Pilot Implementation of Community
September 2025
With trained facilitators, the first pilot community groups were launched. These included daily morning meditation and exercise, psychologist-led therapeutic circles, and peer-supported groups. Pilot testing allowed us to observe participant engagement, refine delivery methods, and ensure that safeguards (confidentiality, data protection, safety protocols) were functioning effectively. Early observations showed strong participation, validating the feasibility and relevance of model.

Expanding from Mental Health to Whole Health
October 2025
Bridging Minds Project expanded its focus from mental health to whole-person well-being. Building on the pilot phase, physician-led initiatives were introduced to support long term illnesses. These sessions complemented the ongoing support circles, helping participants link physical health with emotional balance. Psychology-led expert talks further deepened understanding of integrated view of care. Doctors, psychologists, and facilitators created a truly multidisciplinary model to unite.

Strengthening Support for Winter Well-Being
November 2025
As winter approaches, the Bridging Minds Project shifts focus to strengthening emotional and physical support for communities during the colder months. Special sessions on winter self-care, nutrition, and mood balance have been introduced alongside ongoing therapeutic circles. Peer groups are also being encouraged to share lived strategies for warmth, motivation, and resilience. The emphasis this month is on staying connected, maintaining mental energy, and preventing isolation.
